Convention 2005 in Philadelphia, PA
The second convention of the National Association of Cape Mountainians in the Americas will be held from September 23-25, 2005 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in keeping with the resolution of Convention 2004. Cape Mountainians are expected to come from the eleven Chapters and organizing chapters of NACA as well as several other states in the United States. A delegation from Liberia is also expected at this year's convention. Below is the resolution from the 2004 National Convention as well as pictorial:

National Association of Cape Mountianians in the Americas, Inc.
WHEREAS, Cape Mountainians in the Americas meeting in convention in the City of Philadelphia, State of Pennsylvania to review the current state of affairs of the County; and
WHEREAS, having reviewed the debilitating state of affairs of the National Association of Cape Mountainians since its formation over the last twelve years; and,
WHEREAS, recognizing the massive displacement and infrastructural destruction that have gripped the entire county as a result of years of civil strife and abandonment; and,
WHEREAS, noting that internal disagreement and rivalry among Cape Mountainians both at home and in the Diaspora continue to hamper and obstruct the leadership construct of the County; and,
WHEREAS, further recognizing and commending the singular and sacrificial efforts of goodwill of individuals and groups of individuals in trying to assist the people of Grand Cape Mount County; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, HEREBY RESOLVE:
1. THAT, the Organization should begin immediate efforts at appealing to philanthropic organizations, foundations and other humanitarian and relief organizations to solicit relief assistance for Grand Cape Mount County;
2. THAT, all Cape Mountainians in the Americas should have Cape Mount at heart, and in unison to mobilize our resources for the development of the county;
3. THAT, the incoming Administration of the Organization will request the Constitution Committee to distribute the Draft Amended Constitution among members for their input which shall be returned to the Committee within thirty (30) days of receipt;
4. THAT, in consonance of the wishes of the Convention, a new administration was elected to serve a period of two years. Those elected were:
