This award is presented to a member of a NACA Chapter for his/her outstanding performances and remarkable contributions aimed at strengthening that local Chapter. A gesture that would ultimately lead to enhancing the capacity of NACA in providing services to the people of Grand Cape Mount County, Liberia. NACA chapters make nominations to the NACA Executive Committee, which makes the selection.

Monrovia, December 12, 2006: The National Association of Cape Mountainians in the Americas, Inc. (NACA) through the Cape Mount Development Foundation in Liberia has donated several sporting gears including football and kickball jerseys and assorted items valued at more than $USD2, 500.00 to the county for the ongoing National County meet which began this week.

The National Association of Cape Mountainians in the Americas, Inc. (NACA) has sent a letter of commitment to Grand Cape Mount County Superintendent, Hon Catherine Watson-Khasu confirming that NACA will provide $US15,000.00 for the proposed Konjah Bridge Project in the county. In the letter, NACA National President, Abraham G. Massaley said the Association is willing and prepared to form partnership with other organizations and agencies operating in Liberia to construct a bridge over the Konjah creek in order to connect Mano River and adjacent areas to the rest of the county.
